Hopi Ear Candle, also known as 'Thermal Auricular Therapy' is an extremely comforting, relaxing and beneficial treatment. The therapist inserts a large hollow candle into the clients ear while the client lies on his/her side. The candle acts as a chimney and the vibration of the air rising up through the candle, and the natural movement of the flame gently massages the eardrum.
A warm swirling current of air and a light vacuum occurs which 'dries up' any moisture. This takes approximately 10-15 minutes per candle / ear. After the actual burning of the candles the client receives a full face massage

BRIDAL MAKE-UP
There are enough things that can go wrong on a wedding day without the brides make up being one of them!
I recommend a consultation first and foremost with the bride so that I can get to know the client better and for me to provide essential information as for what is required on your big day, this also helps to gain your confidence with me so that you can be sure that your big day will be as special as it should be.
We also suggest a “trial” make up session again just to ensure that the Bride is happy with the make up and to also run through any last minute changes that there may be.

Manicure
Manicures are used to improve the condition and appearance
of both hands and nails as well as offering advice for keeping
them that way!!
We also offer a wide range of polish for you to choose from
should you wish or we can provide a French Manicure.
Special hand and nail treatments are available which may
require additional treatment time.

Pedicure
Pedicure requirements are the same as for a manicure with
one or two variations and additions.
The manicure procedure adapts quite easily for treating feet,
although a basic pedicure usually takes approximately 45 minutes
because of the extra work that is required.

Eyebrow
shaping
Shaping the brows helps to enhance the eyes and give character
to the face.
Here at the Butterfly beauty room we offer shaping either
by plucking with tweezers or we can shape them for you using
warm wax.

Eyelash
& Eyebrow shaping
A skin test will need to be done
24-48 hours before the tinting can be carried out so please
take this into consideration when booking your appointment.
Well-defined eyebrows and eyelashes emphasise the eyes and
define their shape and also help to balance the facial features.
Eyelash & eyebrow tinting makes the hairs appear both
darker and thicker. The colour fades gradually with exposure
to sunlight and the loss and replacement of tinted hairs.
Eyelash and eyebrow tinting treatments are often the preferable
alternative to mascara and eyebrow cosmetics.
The effects of tinting generally last up to 6 weeks.

WAXING TREATMENTS |

Waxing
Many people find the appearance of facial and body hair either
to be a nuisance or are extremely embarrassed by it.
Waxing treatments are effective in clearing small and large
areas of unwanted skin quickly and effectively. Many people
choose to opt for waxing in the Summer months when more of
the body is exposed.
During a waxing treatment, wax is heated and applied to the
skin so that it grips or sticks to the hairs. When the wax
is removed, the hairs are pulled out completely leaving the
skin soft and smooth.
